UB Finance evaded payments to depositors?

Depositors of the collapsed Ceylinco F & G claim that the present trustees have evaded paying back the depositors’ money.

In a media briefing today (26), the depositors said that the operations of Ceylinco F&G fell under UB Finance under a restructuring programme.

Convenor of the UB Finance depositors' Association (formerly F&G), Jayasinghe Weerakkody said that they are being deprived of the payments and benefits.

He also called all depositors of the company to join a protest discussion on Saturday (Nov. 28) at the auditorium of the All Ceylon Women's Buddhist Congress in Colombo at 3.00pm.
