UPFA Northern Provincial Councillor Shivakkolunthu Akiladas charges that he was abducted by a group who had forcefully obtained his signature to a resignation letter.
The PC member says the incident had occurred during the evening of Nov. 16 when he was at home.
He has revealed that the group had links to several Jaffna District MPs.
The Provincial Councillor has also lodged a police complaint on this regard, reports say.
