32 suspects further remanded under PTA

Some 32 suspects, who have been detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA), were further remanded till Nov. 24 as there were no instructions still from the AG department, reports say.
The AG department will file applications at Courts in a bid to seek the release of these suspects, and only suspects with ‘bailable offenses’ would be released, said the Commissioner General of Prisons.

Applications will also be filed for the release of another batch of 32 suspects later, he has added.
