The individual, named Champika Karunaratne has been arrested for getting paid as an employee working at 3 state institutions, reports add.

It is said that during the days of the previous regime, he had worked as a coordinating officer of the former President Rajapaksa, an official of the Ports ministry and as well as a coordinating officer of the Lotteries Board.
