Members of the organization, lawyer Udul Premaratne told the media yesterday (09) the reports of commissions into the incident were being used by the government to restrain its opponents.
Twenty seven prisoners were killed and many others wounded in the clash on 09 November 2012.
The then prison reforms minister Chandrasiri Gajadheera appointed a three member committee of inquiry, but it has made no headway, said Premaratne.
Yet another three member committee was appointed by present justice minister Wijayadasa Rajapakse and its report handed over on June 09 to the prime minister.
Nothing has been heard about it since then, said Premaratne.
He urged authorities to reveal those behind the prison clash.
