Despite a complaint in 2007 to Kaduruwela police, no proper investigation has taken place.

Investigations so far indicate the soldier had a close relationship with the colonel’s wife for some time.

This colonel is presently under arrest over the forced disappearance of journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda.
