G. Gunatilake, aged 49 years, had been last seen on August 07.

His wife Sriyani and three children live in a house in front of Thambuttegama Ayurvedic Hospital.

Sriyani says her husband too, had been accused over the treasure hunting incident.

Teams from Colombo had recorded statements from him twice, the last one given in Colombo two days prior to his disappearance.

Sriyani says she last received his salary in August, after which she had received a letter of termination of duties.

She had complained to Thambuttegama police, while the Vavuniya DIG’s office had refused even to accept a complaint.

The IGP and the president too, have been informed, but there is no response yet, she adds.
