Police had been on the lookout following complaints that those boards were going missing in the night.

The police spokesman’s office said the men, who had arrived in a vehicle, were arrested and later identified as members of the Army’s 6th signal corps.

Produced before the Chavakachcheri magistrate, each was enlarged on a Rs. 50,000 surety.

The case against them will be taken up on October 29, the police spokesman’s office said.
