President's New Media Head resigns

Oshala Herath, the Head of New Media and Deputy Director of Media to the President of Sri Lanka has resigned from his post.

He has announced this in his Twitter account.

Upon inquiry he stated that he has already submitted the letter requesting resignation.

It has been said that he has resigned due to the administrative conflicts and poor coordination within the Presidential Media Unit and lack of efficiency caused by politicization.
