The letter says he had been arrested by Kotadeniyawa police on September 16 without citing any reason.
He says he had been detained until September 19, produced before Minuwangoda courts and remanded. He was released on October 01.
On the day of his arrest, his laptop, mobile phone with a SIM, two broken mobile phones, software, several film CDs and a SIM were taken into police custody.
When he was at the police station, his dongle too, was brought there, and before he was put into the cell, two copper charms and a necklace were also taken into their custody.
The boy says his laptop was produced before courts, and since he did not receive his belongings yet, his lawyer, on October 05 in his presence telephoned Kotadeniyawa OIC Sujitha Udaya Kumara and inquired about them.
But, the OIC said he did not take them and disconnected the line.
The boy asks the IGP to instruct the Kotadeniyawa OIC to return his belongings as soon as possible.
