The Ceylon Teachers' Union (CTU) says that they will will lodge a complaint with the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) calling to ensure justice for the teenager arrested over the Seya Sadewmi murder.

Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror', Joseph Stalin of the CTU says that the complaint will be made tomorrow (30).

He added the complaint will be made against the A/L student being arrested without no solid proof and the police's conduct which tarnished the reputation of the student through media.

He also said that they will seek a guideline from the HRCSL on how the police should act when arresting a school student and on how to allow this teenager stand before society as an innocent, should he be proven so.

Mr. Stalin also said that the CTU vehemently deplores the murder of child - Seya Sadewmi.
