As police had refused to grant her bail, the Padaviya courts have remanded her, according to lawyers.
Police say she had been arrested by Kilinochchi police on suspicion over a theft and handed over to Kebithigollewa police.
Jeyakumari was first arrested in Kilinochchi by the TID on 13 March 2014 along with her daughter Vibhushika on a charge of having aided a man wanted by police and kept detained for more than a year.
Her husband died due to cancer, while the eldest son Balendiran was killed at war in 2006.
The second son was a victim of shelling during the final stages of the war while on his way to military-controlled territory, while the third, who surrendered to the military at Mullivaikkal on the same day, remains missing.
