According to the Department of Examinations, 340,926 candidates will sit for this year's exam.

The first paper is to be held from 9.30am - 10.15am while the second paper will be held from 10.45am - 12.00 noon.

Candidates have been informed to be seated by 9.00am and to pin their examination number on the left side of their top.

The Department of Examinations urges parents to bring their children to the exam centre early and to pack them a snack for the break.

The department adds that parents would not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
