UNP in the lead?

According to unofficial results, the UNP is ahead in 10 districts while the UPFA is in the lead in 09 districts, reports say.

It is said that the UNP is leading in the districts of Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Puttalam, Polonnaruwa, Digamadulla, Matale, Trincomalee and Kegalle.

According to unconfirmed reports the UPFA is leading in the districts of Galle, Matara, Hambantota and Kurunegala.

Sources add that the TNA is in the lead in the districts of Jaffna, Vanni and Batticaloa.
