UPFA Parliamentarian Sajin de Vass Gunawardena, who was arrested for allegedly misusing vehicles belonging to the President Secretariat Office, has been further remanded until August 25 by the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
The counsel standing on behalf of Gunawardena has informed the court that there are items to be returned which he had been utilizing as a parliamentarian.
The Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage has ordered to follow the prison regulations with regard to the matter.
