The Elections Commissioner has called for a final report on the vehicles which are yet to be returned by candidates contesting for the General election, Additional elections commissioner - M.M. Mohomad says.

He said that the elections chief had ordered to hand over the final report to District election offices.

Legal action against such unreturned vehicles will be taken from tomorrow onwards, he added.

However, as ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers are still functioning in their posts, their vehicles will not be taken over, he clarified.
