The man is identified as Abu Shuraih Sailani and the Prime minister had ordered the IGP to initiate a probe and question Sailani's family.
Accordingly, a special team had launched a probe in the Galagedara area which is said to be where the family was living.
However, investigations have revealed that although his family and several relations had lived in the Galagedara area, they had moved to Pakistan several years ago.
Nevertheless, police are to obtain statements from several friends and acquaints of Sailani. Statements obtained so far has revealed that Sailani, who once worked as a Principal of an international school in Galewela, had obtained leave some time ago and gone to Pakistan. He had not come back, they had added.
