They had arrived at the FCID after the Fort Magistrate Court last week ordered them to give a statement to the FCID over purchasing a land deal.

Statements have been obtained from Mrs. Ranatunga on twice, over purchasing a land from the Meethotamulla area. On July 10, her husband too, was summoned on this regard.
