August 02 and 09 will be special distribution days of official poll cards, said additional elections commissioner M.M. Mohamed.

The distribution is due to be completed by August 10, and any voter not receiving the official poll card should claim same at the area’s post office by proving identity, he said.

There will be special marks on the official poll cards of voters who are either dead or overseas.

The latter can exercise franchise by furnishing the passport, said the election official.
