The district has 360 candidates contesting from 46 political parties and independent groups.

The second longest, at around 24 inches, will be the ballot paper for Colombo district, which has 36 parties and independent groups on the fray.

Acting head of the Government Press A.G. Fonseka said ballot papers were being printed on specially made paper complete with water mark and other security features.
