Rajapaksa’s speech is due at the UPFA’s first election rally in Anuradhapura.

The rally will be preceded by religious observances at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi.

At a media briefing at the SLFP headquarters yesterday, Rajapaksa promised to respond to president Sirisena’s statement in two days’ time.
