Rajapaksa whilst in office always released photos portraying himself to be fit and sporty.

Some of the released official pictures in the past showed the former President in the gym carrying a set of dumbbells.

The photographs just posted by Apsari Tilakaratne reveals the Kurunegala district UPFA parliamentary candidate Mahinda Rajapaksa’s real body size that has been kept a secret up until now.

It is not clear that the former President has gained weight during the last six months due to the fact that he has not being able to use the posh gym and its facilities at Temple Trees.

Apsari captioned the photographs in her Facebook page as “with our great leader @ his residence”.
