It is said that SLFP ministers Rajitha Senaratne, Arjuna Ranatunga, M.K.D.S. Gunewardena as well as Western Provincial councillor Hirunika Premachandra, who supported the then Presidential candidate Maithripala Sirisena,  are to be a part of this front.

However, former minister Duminda Dissanayake is yet to express his approval, reports add.

SF poses condition :

The Democratic Party led by Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka has already handed over nominations. However, they have requested for the posts of Deputy Prime minister and Internal Defence minister portfolios in order to join the above alliance, reports add.

Symbol undecided :

However, it is yet to be decided whether the Front will contest the election under the 'swan' symbol or the 'elephant' symbol.
