Yesterday (09), the CAA confiscated 6,000 Dora toffees from two Colombo shops.

The Authority is conducting raids at district level to seize these toffees from the market, said senior investigating officer Pradeep Kalutarage.

Samples have been sent to the government analyst and the dangerous drugs control board.

Legal action will be taken against relevant parties once analysis reports are received, said the CAA, he said.
