Commissioner General of Registration of Persons R.M.S. Sarath Kumara has said G.C.E. A/L exam applicants who are yet to obtain their National Identity Cards should hand over their NIC application to the Department of Registration of Persons before August 01.

He adds that any applicant who had not received their NIC should call to 011 2593634 or send a fax message.

Mr. Sarath Kumara also requests school principals to speed up the process of sending lists of names of students who have completed the age of 16 years, before the 31st of October.

The Department of Registration of Persons also said that they have provided a one day service for the A/L students who are yet to obtain their NICs.
