She was speaking at a function where she received a teacher guidance book prepared by the children’s secretariat.

The state minister also said that a 50 million dollar grant by the World Bank would be utilized to develop early childhood education in the country.

That will go towards granting scholarships to preschool age children of low income families, she added.
