The General Secretary of the organization Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera and Vitharandeniye Nanda Thera were also among the group.

Expressing his thoughts Gnanasara Thera has stated that it is surprising how the relevant official of the particular company and the relevant Minister went abroad at the same time when Maggi Noodles was banned and that there is an invisible political hand operating in this scenario.

During the discussion it has been questioned if Maggi can be banned in Sri Lanka until the investigations are concluded and it has been said that the BBS will be informed following a discussion among the authorities.
