Group of representative of Bodu Bala Sena(BBS) including the General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera arrived at Central Bank today (23) to lodge a complaint against introducing Islamic banking in Sri Lanka.

They stated that the introduction of Islamic banking to Sri Lanka is a violation of financial regulations in the country.

Following a discussion between Central Bank officials and BBS representatives it has been stated that such introduction would not take place and agreed that if there is such an occurrence they will investigate it.
