Samples will be sent to the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI).
The move comes as Nestle said last week it will destroy more than $50m (£32m) worth of its hugely popular Maggi noodles, following a ban imposed by India's food safety regulator.
The Health Ministry is to conduct chemical tests on all brands of noodles.
