He is responding to allegations by his predecessor Somawansa Amarasinghe.
Disssanayake told BBC Sandeshaya that one could surmise as to what has happened by comparing between Amarasinghe’s remarks, made in the past and the present.
The ex-leader has a right to engage in politics and build a movement of his own although he has left the party, but the JVP is not interested in what he does, said Dissanayake.
JVP is with conspirators
Meanwhile, Amarasinghe has said that his successor was now colluding with plotters, pointing to the conspiracy alleged to have taken place at Temple Trees on January 08.
He said that he has held talks with ‘Pivithuru Hetak’ too, in order to form an extensive patriotic front against colonialism.
