Namal Rajapaksa was summoned to the CID to record a statement and he has made these comments speaking to journalists present at the location.

The parliamentarian who stated that they engage in politics and have not done anything wrong, has further stated that allegations have been leveled not only against his family members but also against the local politicians.

He has also stated they expect justice from court with regard to all allegations, adding that "we have not wronged, we are innocent".
