Lankan embassy in Italy in scam?

Lankan embassy in Italy in scam? Featured

The Sri Lankan embassy in Italy is charging an additional payment of 15 Euro in addition to the government approved charges during its mobile services.

However, the money thus collected does not go to the embassy.

Around 2,000 persons on average take part in each of these mobile services.

This charge began to be levied during the period lawyer Hemantha Warnakulasuriya was the ambassador in Italy.

After the new government took office, around four mobile services had been conducted in Italy.
