The SC said there is no obstacle against his arrest over any other investigation.

The court considered a motion filed by the attorney general seeking a clarification of the parties for whom the interim order is applicable.

Taking up the motion, justices Eva Wanasundara and Sarath de Abrew said the interim order pertained only to the MiG deal, Avant Garde incident, Mihin Lanka irregularities and the purchase of Lanka Hospitals Ltd. shares.

Making a statement, justice Wanasundara said her participation in the hearing has led to much distress.

She said she treated all cases alike and no case is special to her, BBC Sandeshaya reports.
