She has made these comments speaking to the editor of 'Lanka Guardian’, Nilantha Ilangamuwa in a special interview.

Sasidharan is to attend the human rights session of the UN Human Rights Council, which is scheduled to be held this month and also the session to be held in future on Sri Lanka.

Sasidharan is the wife of LTTE political leader of Trincomalee district, Elilan, during the period when LTTE operated in North. He disappeared after surrendering himself to the Army.

She said that it was respecting Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi's request she handed over her husband to Army and that after the particular act carried out by trusting Kanimozhi's word she has to suffer for the rest of her life.

Mistreatment

When she was questioned whether she intends to cross over to another party as she is disappointed over the mistreatment of Tamil National Alliance leaders, with a smiling face she has responded saying many have requested her to contest independently.

A mother of 3 daughters, Sasidharan, has further stated that currently she is teaching her daughters how to live following her death.
