Although MP Gunewardena has sought bail citing a phlegm-related ailment that he had suffered in 2011, the Magistrate has said that although medical reports on treatment obtained in 2013 were submitted no medical reports after 2013 have been submitted.
UPFA MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardane and another individual were further remanded till June 17 by Fort Chief Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage for allegedly misusing 23 vehicles belonging to the Presidential Secretariat.
