It has been decided to change the district organisers in Kurunegala, Nuwara Eliya and Anuradhapura, targeting the forthcoming General election.

Meanwhile, measures are also being taken to appoint Maithripala affiliates as co-organisers to electorates where there are powerful Mahinda Rajapaksa supporters.

It is said that the SLFP executive committee is to be convened this week to seek required approval.
