Fighting for educational rights, a crime? - IUSF Featured

Protests are taking place in front of the Kelaniya, Rajarata and Buddhist and Pali Universities to demand the release of the four remanded activists of the Inter University Bhikku Federation.

Convener, Ven. Tennne Gnanananda Thera and the three others are accused of causing damage to public property during a protest march on April 29.

The Inter University Students Federation says the accusations are unacceptable, and asks the government as to how the fighting for educational rights could be a crime.
