Kaduwela magistrate today (27) rejected the bail application of former Economic Development, minister - Basil Rajapaksa further remanded him till June 10.
Former Economic Development Ministry Secretary Dr. Nihal Jayatilaka, former Director General of the Divineguma Department, R.R.K. Ranawaka and Divi Neguma Regional Director Bandula Thilakasiri were also remanded till June 10.

They were arrested on charges of misappropriation of funds in the Divi Neguma Department.
