The showing of ‘Sath Pathini’ began on May 19, and it was one of the two tele dramas that Rupavahini introduced under a promotional campaign in order to increase its viewers.

 

Dharmasiri gave a tab to Kumara Alagiyawanna, who was instrumental in this promotional campaign, but he had given it to programme directress Erin Wijekoon, say SLRC sources.
