Sri Lanka Cricket has applied for a Rs. 650 million overdraft from a leading state bank, reports say.

Already, Rs. 450 m of the amount sought has been released and spent on various purposes.

The monthly interest for the sum obtained is nearly Rs. 07 milion, reports say.

Ashley admits OD

SLC CEO Ashley de Silva admitted that parties affiliated to SLC have been informed about the OD sought.

He refused to divulge details of the OD and the attached interest.
