The ministry of Justice has already handed over the Bill to Parliament Gen. Secretary - Dhammika Dasanayaka, parliament sources say.
Although the 19th Amendment was passed in Parliament on April 28, it was re-drafted to include several amendments suggested by the opposition.
Therefore, tabling the draft before the Speaker was delayed, minister of Justice, Wijayadasa Rajapaksa said.
Once the Speaker signs the Bill into law, independent commissions and a Constitutional Council would be set up.
