Mahendran at CB in the dead of night

Central Bank governor Arjun Mahendran is accused of going to the bank’s economic research department in the dead of night on April 22 and taking away the bank’s finalised annual report.

It is alleged he had edited the report and it was that version that had been released yesterday.

Meanwhile, banking experts charge that it was unethical for Mahendran to report for work even before the entire report into the massive bond fraud through his son-in-law Arjun Aloyceus’ Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. is tabled in parliament.

A motion signed by 90 MPs has been handed over to the speaker on April 28, demanding that he be sacked immediately.
