A group of Sri Lanka Freedom Party MPs have engaged in a discussion with the President Maithripala Sirisena regarding these investigations and Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has also participated in it.

At the discussion the MPs have pointed out that legal action should be taken against those who are alleged of fraud and corruption irrespective of their status and that they do not oppose the official investigations conducted into those allegations.
