He was summoned to the commission over the cases regarding Avant-Garde Security Services and Rakna Lanka Araksha Limited. Rajapaksa has continuously insisted on his innocence on these allegations.

Meanwhile,a protest is currently being held in front of the Bribery Commission against summoning him to record his statement, says Mirror reporter.

However, the Colombo Chief Magistrate issued an order yesterday (22) banning protest in front of the Bribery Commission.
