Meanwhile, president Maithripala Sirisena has appointed a new chairman and directors for Rakna Lanka.

Victor Samaraweera is the new head, while the directors are Jayantha Dhanapala, A.A. Wickramasinghe, Dharmasena Haputrantri and Sarath Jayatilake.

Also, Lanka Logistics and Technologies Ltd. has a new chairman in Asanka Dodanwela, while new directors too, have been appointed.
