However, it has now been reported that Indian well-wishers of Prime Minister Wickremesinghe had paid for the sandalwood he offered to the famous temple in Guruvayur, Kerala.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Saturday made a sudden trip to India to worship at the famous Guruvayur temple in India. During the ritual, Wickremesinghe had offered 77 kilos of sandalwood, which is equivalent to his weight, to the temple.
Reports stated that the sandalwood had cost close to Rs. 850,000.
However, it has now been reported that Indian well-wishers of Prime Minister Wickremesinghe had paid for the sandalwood he offered to the famous temple in Guruvayur, Kerala.
