The main rally is to take place at Hyde Park in Colombo, while the group loyal to Mahinda Rajapaksa is making arrangements to hold a separate rally in Kirulapone.

Rajapaksa will be present at the Kirulapone rally, which will also be attended by the UPFA-afiliate joint trade unions alliance, together with the CP and the LSSP.

Convener of the TU alliance Alavi Moulana is convening this rally, Ravaya reports.
