Speaking, minister of Foreign Employment Thalatha Athukorale said that the Bureau has learnt that over 4,000 Sri Lankan workers are illegally remaining in Korea.

The minister said that this situation could have a negative impact on possibile foreign employment opportunities in many countries including in EU member states.
