The Draft Bill was formulated in accordance with past documents on the subject as well as on the suggestions of individuals, groups and civil organisations. It will be tabled before the Cabinet through the Attorney General Department.
Internal sources of the government say that it is planned to present this Bill to Parliament, add amendments and to pass the Bill as soon as possible.
The Right To Information is cited as a fundamental right under the gazetted 19th constitutional Amendment.
However, certain limitations of the RTI draft Bill are being criticised in the media field.
