Sri Lanka Mirror reported yesterday that foreign employment minister Athukorale was in a quandary after Perera was appointed housing and Samurdhi state minister in the coalition government.

That is because she would have to stop investigations into the irregularities in her ministry under the predecessor Perera.

No thieves in new cabinet

Meanwhile, cabinet spokesman Rajitha Senaratne told the media yesterday that none of the newly appointed ministers were frauds.
